"Patience"

Where do i start? Damian Marley and Nasir Jones are amazing artists. I always had a feeling when i was younger that they would get together again and make some epic tracks. Not only did they make a couple tracks they now have an album together called "Distant Relatives". I have yet to listen to the whole album, but i heard this song called "Patience" and i was blown away.

The song is DEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP. It's basically their way of letting people know how corrupt this world is. One thing that really caught my attention in the song, was the part where nas said....

"Who made up words? who made up numbers? And what kind of spell is mankind under?"

I always wondered as a kid who made numbers up, and words. Till this day i still think about it but even after a long brainstorm and research i never get an answer. At least now i know im not the only one wondering who made up those two things! Another part of the song that i felt was when Damian Marley said....

" This is how the media pillages
On the TV the picture is
Savages in villages
And the scientist still can't explain the pyramids, huh
Evangelists making a living on the videos of ribs of the little kids
Stereotyping the image of the images
And this is what the image is."

Also the artwork for the album cover was well thought of. It was really a great way of visually expressing what they are trying to communicate to us through their music.
